In the Settings tab, click the + Add new Preset button to open the preset modal. Enter a preset name, specify total marks and credit hours, define the grading table (start/end percentages, GPA, and grade), and click "Apply" to save the preset.

A: GradeEasy calculates CGPA using the formula: $$ \text{CGPA} = \frac{\sum (\text{Course Grade} \times \text{Credit Hour})}{\sum (\text{Credit Hour})} $$

A: Here's how GradeEasy calculates your CGPA:
  • It converts the total marks for each course into corresponding grade points based on the defined grading scale.
  • It multiplies the grade points for each course by its respective credit hour.
  • It sums up all the (grade points × credit hours) for all courses.
  • Finally, it divides this sum by the total sum of all credit hours to get the final CGPA.
Q: What kind of customizations can I make in the Settings Tab?
A: In the Settings Tab, you can create custom grading presets, define mark distribution for different assessment components, and adjust other settings.
Q: How does the Track CGPA tab work?
A: The Track CGPA Tab stores your semester-wise CGPA records and visualizes your progress over time using line graphs. You can also view detailed reports for each semester. Remember to check Track this semester in the CG Calculate tab to track it here.

First of all, BDU is a newly established government university, and its Software Engineering Department is truly exceptional. These ongoing department and also Upcoming joss joss department is unmatched, even compared to well-established universities, thanks to its modern facilities and innovative approach. Second, the location of BDU is a game changer because it’s near Dhaka, the IT hub and capital of Bangladesh. This makes it so easy to communicate with big tech companies located in Dhaka, opening doors for students. Lastly, being near Dhaka brings extra blessings to BDU. To develop your skills according to your passion, the campus doesn’t matter—really, it doesn’t matter—because BDU provides everything you need. I hope a next-generation, developed campus will be built, and if it is, this university will be unstoppable. With 24/7 lab access, a high-speed Wi-Fi system, smart classrooms, and digitalized systems, studying at BDU feels like heaven. If you lack any of these, you realize how important they are. What more does an IT student need? We don’t need to go outside the campus for experiments; we can control the whole world from a tiny lab room.
